Italian travertine direct from Siena
Travertine is a form of limestone that is deposited by hot springs. Our travertine is sourced from a quarry located in Rapolano Terme, a Province of Siena in the Tuscany Region of Italy. We can supply travertine in standard tile sizes or as large slabs for bespoke installations. As we are locally based we would be happy to show you the quarry, the process of removing the stone and how it is prepared it for your project.
We will not supply travertine from Turkey, Iran or Mexico as it does not match the quality of Italian travertine
This is very important to us as the quality of the completed project is critical. We are very aware of suppliers in Ireland offering travertine that is really a cheaper stone from another country that will not have the durability of our stone.
What types of travetine do we supply?
There are several different types and grades of travertine. Below we have outlined the most popular and the areas we recommend using on your project. Stone is a natural material and therefore each block that is removed from the quarry will vary in colour.
